What to Do in Between Sessions

Although you will feel results immediately after your first Reiki session, the healing is more effective after several consecutive treatments. During a Reiki session you will experience drastic shifts in your energy, so it is important to rest and drink plenty of water in the succeeding hours. It is not abnormal for some of your symptoms to gradually come back after your first session. If you are seeking Reiki for chronic pain, it is recommended to have regularly scheduled sessions.

We live in a very stressful time. With the high demands of modern society, our bodies are often switching to the fight or flight response. Undergoing that kind of stress in our daily lives can take a huge toll on our bodies, minds, and spirits. Reiki healing sessions will open the door to a way to get back in touch with your body.

In between your sessions it is a good idea to start a meditation practice. This practice does not have to be rigorous or in depth. Just explore and enjoy the Reiki energy within you. If you have a hard time meditating, it could be as easy as mindful walking, mindful breathing, or partaking in a relaxing task that you enjoy. I am more than happy to go into depth about these practices with you as well.

In our sessions, I will convey to you the blockages I sense in your energy. As an experienced Reiki Master, I will be able to give you guidance specific to the problems you are facing. Whether it is writing positive affirmations, eliminating harmful food from your diet, or adding something into your exercise regime, my guidance will be tailored to ease whatever suffering you are personally experiencing.
